Mehandipur Balaji Temple

We already know that Rajasthan is well known for its historical importance but this time somewhat different as we are here to remove the curtain from the ancient story that is murmured by most of the people regarding Balaji temple.

Mehandipur Balaji Temple Story: Legends

There’s an interesting history of how the Mehandipur Balaji temple came into existence as a valuable temple.

A long time ago, Mehandipur was covered with dense forest, Nowadays- Dausa, Rajasthan. Wild animals and villagers were living in the adjacent areas of the forest. And one of the saints in this village, Gosai Ji Maharaj, had a different dream.

One night, he started walking toward the jungle in his sleep and perceived some visuals. There were thousands of lamps walking, and sounds of horses, elephants, and an army walking towards him very fast. Then, they all bow their heads to the three deities: Shri Balaji Maharaj, Pretraj Maharaj, and Shri Bhairo Nathji.

After that, they returned to the place where they started, and Maharaj went back to his village. After some time, when he tried to sleep again, he got Darshan from Shri Balaji Maharaj, confirming him to construct a temple for the three powers that he saw in his dream.

And this is how Mehandipur Balaji temple came into existence.

It believed that specific souls that have committed some wrongs -alleged to roam as lonely, often evil spirits to torment the living before being Reborn. These ever-roaming supernatural evil spirits very often, enter the body of the individual and mess up the consciousness, causing “Demonic Possession”. http://<a href=”https://www.blogs-collection.com/asia/” title=”Asia Blogs Directory” target=”_blank”>Blogs Directory</a>

Demonic Possession is often cured by “Exorcisms” which specifically means a religious or spiritual practice of evicting demons and other spiritual entities from a person or an area, it is believed to have possessed.

There was one case from Apollo Hospital “The doctor calls me up to say that a Nigerian lady behaves abnormally, she is becoming very violent and tries to pull down people, despite this, she shows that extra power in herself so I paid a visit and I prayed over the lady. I blessed her with the holy water immediately after that she became calm, on the next day, the doctor contacted me to say that she has not shown that abnormal behavior again Father Thomas”. He further stated that exorcisms happen very rarely, the demonic possessions happen very often.

Deities Inside The Mehandipur Balaji Mandir

The Mehandipur Balaji mandir celebrates the child form of Shri Hanumanji, one of the prominent Hindu gods. He is the main face in this mandir, along with two other superpowers, namely Shri Pretraj Maharaj and Shri Bhairo Nathji.

Since Lord Hanuman did a lot of hilarious activities (Lilayein) at an early age at different places, therefore this mandir is known as “Balaji.” Further, this mandir is also commonly known as the Ghata Mehandipur because it is situated in the valley (Ghati), formed by two different mountains.

Mehandipur Balaji Temple -Supernatural Evils & Exorcism

When I was researching and gathering information about this temple before visiting it, I was a bit scared and confused by the information I got to know. There were lots of videos on youtube and articles on Google, enough to trust.

However, my perspective on Mehandipur Balaji changed when we went to the temple.

There were screams of people, some spinning their heads, hitting, or jumping on the floor. But in all this honesty, this was normal. Moreover, everything was getting very dull when I heard the Shri Ram’s chants in the hall.

The enthusiasm among the people who came to have Darshan was auspicious and rare to see. Additionally, this exorcism practice was not visible in the main hall or nearby the seats of deities. Instead, you’ll see those people in a dedicated hall and around the temple’s boundaries or walls.
